Kathryn Lawrence
Kathryn is the founder and owner of Encompass Behavioral Group and is passionate about helping individuals and families feel supported, understood, and empowered through life’s challenges. She values creating a welcoming and judgment-free environment where clients feel safe to be themselves.
Kathryn enjoys working with children, teens, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, caregiving challenges, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine connection and compassion.
Outside of therapy, Kathryn is also the founder and president of Jayland Partners, a local nonprofit focused on promoting inclusion and social connection for individuals with intellectual disabilities. She also serves on the board for United Way and values giving back to the rural communities she serves.
In her free time, Kathryn enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband and family, listening to live music, and being around horses. Her dog Quincy is also a frequent visitor at Encompass and enjoys welcoming clients whenever he can.
Kathryn believes healing begins with connection, and her goal is to help clients feel seen, valued, supported, and encouraged as they move toward growth and positive change.
